Our Beginning

Parr Funeral Home was established on January 2, 2002. On August 17, 2007, the firm moved to a newly constructed facility, which incorporated a crematory. As its founder and owner, Charles D. Parr, Sr., has over 35 years of experience working as a funeral director in Suffolk, VA. In addition to his funeral license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, he is also licensed in the State of North Carolina to serve the neighboring community. Assisting him is Sarae Sibilia Joyner and C. Douglas Parr Jr. as funeral directors and embalmers licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
