Guy Alton Duke, Jr., 49, passed away January 7, 2010. A native of Suffolk he was a former truck driver for Blair Brothers and a member of Bible Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie Jean Duke and brothers, Roger A. Chipman and Samuel R. Duke.

Guy is survived by his mother and father, Guy Alton Duke, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Underwood Duke of Suffolk; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette Faith Bowdoin and Kevin Dale Bowdoin of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Preston, Manuel, and Rosalia; sister and brother-in-law, Lucille D. and Eddie Humphrey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen D. and Janet Chipman, John and Linda Duke all of Suffolk; 9 nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 11, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery, with Rev. Kenneth Bunch officiating.
