Yona Christine Donner, 74, of Suffolk, passed away on May 25, 2019. A native of Haifa, Israel, she was the daughter of the late Mikael Grinberg and Yohevit Grinberg. Her husband Robert Albert Donner and son Michael Albert Donner also predeceased her. Yona retired as manager of a Citgo Gas Station.

Yona is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Audrey Jeanette Sykes (Timothy), all of Suffolk; a son and daughter-in-law, retired Warrant Officer Robert Michael Donner (Cindy) of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren, Jacob (Shani), Erika, Tiffany Amber, Raymoan (Bridgette), Sariha and Mikael; two Great Grandchildren, Nasir and Raylen; two sisters Ofra and Ruti of Israel.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA with Chaplain Carter Tyler officiating. Friends may join the family on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk for visitation.
