Wilmer Sightler, 80, of Suffolk, VA, passed away October 5, 2010. He was born in South Carolina, the son of the late Hughey and Susie Sightler. He retired after many years of managing a service station.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Sightler; sons, Wayne Sightler of Gates, NC, Gary Sightler of Mt. Airy, MD, and Dearl Sightler of Suffolk, VA; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters, Georgia Barrett, Hazel Byrum, and Peggy Fegre; brothers, Harvey Sightler and Edward Sightler.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 8, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Arthur Harris officiating. Friends may join the family Thursday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr. Suffolk, VA for a time of visitation.
