Willie Edwards Jones, 91, passed away August 12, 2016. She was born in Isle of Wight County, VA the daughter of the late Albert Curtis and Ada Nelms Edwards. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, James "JO" Jones; son-in-law, Mike Wilkerson; brothers, George, Ishmael, Dinkie, and Robert Edwards; sisters, Ida Bell Wells and Maggie Jones. She retired from Electric Cooker. Willie was a member of Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church and the Timothy Group for Senior Citizens.

Willie is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Blythe (Jack), Janet L. Laging (Charlie), and Darlene Wilkerson; grandchildren, Eric Jones (Lloyd), Trent Jones (Beth), Brandi Wilkerson, Caitlin Wilkerson; great grandchildren, Sophia Wilkerson and Piper Jones; brother, Joseph "DeDe" Edwards (Carolyn); sister-in-law, Adelee Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Ruffin Alphin officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
