William "Bill" Washburn Cayton, 72, passed away July 25, 2024.  Bill was born in Montgomery, AL the son of the late William and Dura Washburn Cayton.  He was a retired Retirement Specialist in the HR Department at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.  Bill was predeceased by his nephew David.

Bill is survived by his wife, Bridget  Kelly; daughter, Emily Kelly Cayton (David Culpepper); grandchildren, Oscar Cayton Culpepper, Dietrich Cayton Culpepper; sisters, Jean Thompson, Lolita Ferris (Richard); and nieces and nephews, Richard , Caroline, Erin and Lisa.
