William Lee Tew, Sr., 58, passed away September 27, 2015. He was born in Tripoli, Africa to the late Harry F. Tew, Sr. and Virginia D. Tew. William was also predeceased by his sister, Susan Walker. He worked as a self-employed contractor. William attended Believers Church in Chesapeake and was an avid supporter of Suffolk Youth Athletic Association.

William is survived by his wife of 34 years, Karen K. Tew; daughters, Kristina A. Tew (Douglas M. Briske), Katherine M. Tew; sons, William L. Tew, Jr., Ryan T. Tew; grandchild, Hunter L. Arrowood; sisters, Debra McCrary (Steve), Elizabeth Lester (Steve), Teresa Hutchins (Jim); brother, Harry F. Tew, Jr., (Deb); brother-in-law, Paul H. Kube, Jr and Jeanne A. Jackson.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Jamie Stewart officiating. A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 7-8 pm at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA, 23434.
