William Gene Smith, 62, passed away May 22, 2018.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Billy Gene Smith and Lillie Harlow Parker Smith.  He was predeceased by his brothers, Lewis, Angelo, and Millard Smith.  William previously worked as an HVAC Mechanic for Southwestern Heating & Cooling.

William is survived by his wife of 45 years, JoeAnna Ellis Smith; daughters, Anna Lynn Clark (Robert), Lisa Carol Iversen, and Gena Lee Smith; grandchildren, Nathan Clark, Brittany Clark, Tiffany Clark, Breydan Askew, Haley Iversen; sisters, Doris Moss, Bea Braun, and Wiona Dyke.
