William Azor Rowland, 66, passed away March 6, 2017.  He was born in Elizabeth City, NC the son of the late William Joseph Rowland and Annabel Lilly Rowland.  He was predeceased by his sister, Florence A. Smith.  William worked as a bus driver for Isle of Wight County Schools.  He was a member of Isle of Wight Christian Church.

William is survived by his brothers, Linwood, William, and Steven Rowland; sisters, Billie Jo Lamb, Ellen Lesoine, and Effie Long; numerous nieces and nephews; and very good friend, David Carroll.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2 p.m.  Isle of Wight Christian Church, 17129 Courthouse Hwy., Isle of Wight, VA with Pastor John Bauswell officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
