William "Randy" Randolph Radford, 55, of Suffolk, Virginia passed away November 29, 2011. He was born in Greenville, SC the son of Inez Geraldine Radford and Ransom Randolph Radford. He worked as a transfer vehicle operator for the Southeastern Public Service Authority (SPSA). He was a member of the Southern Gospel Association and sang bass for The Galileans Gospel Quartet for more than 20 years.
Along with his parents, William is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debra Ann Johnson Radford of Suffolk, VA; daughter, Jennifer Radford Hardison; son, William "Billy" Radford, Jr. both of Windsor, VA; grandchildren, Miranda Lyann Hardison and Jacob Hunter Hardison; sisters, Jackie Dianne Edmondson of Portsmouth, VA, Anita Radford-Black of GA; brother, Robert Wayne Radford of NC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Deep Creek Baptist Church, 250 Mill Creek Parkway, Chesapeake, VA 23323 with Rev. Tom Potter officiating. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Friday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA and other times at the residence.
