William Quinton "Billy" Piland, 79, passed away April 8, 2021.  He was born in Nansemond County, VA, the son of the late Richard Roland Piland and Flossie Joe Smith Piland.  He retired from International Paper and the Zuni Presbyterian Training Center having worked in the Maintenance Departments.  Billy was a US Air Force Veteran and a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.  He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Faye Hedgepeth Piland; son, Richie Lee Piland; sister, Louise Piland Snook; brother, Richard Ronald Piland.

Billy is survived by his son, Alan Eric Piland.
