William Arthur Ogburn, 81, passed away on June 29, 2012. A native of Greenville County, VA he was the son of the late Edward Ogburn and Willie Daniel Ogburn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. William worked in maintenance at Pruden Vo-Tech.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Delbridge Ogburn; daughter and son-in-law, Penny Ogburn Raiford and Larry Wayne Raiford; son and daughter-in-law, Tony Lynn Ogburn and Fonda Fields Ogburn; grandchildren: Lindsey Lee Raiford and Tori Michelle Raiford; sisters, Ella Brumbles, Ethel Knapp, Joyce Smith, Betty Romines; and brothers: J. C. Ogburn and Thomas Ogburn.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com
