William "Big Mac" Eugene McCloskey, 68, passed away July 26, 2021.  William was born in Lebanon, PA the son of Ruth Elizabeth Dickey McCloskey and the late Delmas Austen McCloskey, Jr.  He was a U.S Navy Veteran having served in Vietnam.  He retired as a Boilermaker from N.O.B.  William was a current member of the N.R.A.

William is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jacqueline Linda McCloskey; daughters, Jennifer J. Daggett (Jeff), Missey A. Henderson; sons, William McCloskey (Kathy), John A. Raguth (Amanda), Lance McCloskey; grandchildren, Bailey, Dillon, Hannah, Travis, Nicole, Claudia, Rachael, Olivia, Nick, Katie, Lance, Lane, Jarron, Julie; great grandchild, James; sisters, Jeannette McCloskey, Lisa Gingerich, Pat Newman; brother, Bob McCloskey (Mindy); and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Michael Halley officiating.  A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
