William "Bill" Lloyd Marslender, Sr., 87, passed away June 17, 2024.  He was born in Pantego, NC the son of the late Carlton William and Hallie Deborah Tetterton Marslender.  Bill is retired from DOD after 33 years of service and also retired Dockmaster with Scott's Creek Marina and a US Army veteran.  He is predeceased by his sister Viola Roscoe.  Bill served as Vice President of Admiral's Landing Condominium Association.

Bill is survived by his wife of 16 years, Isa Costa; daughter, Iris Jankosky; son, William Lloyd Marslender, Jr.; grandchildren, Melissa, Brandi; great grandchildren, Kaylyn, Jeremiah, Aiden; great great grandchild, Ky'mir; sisters, Ella Mae Nixon, Helen Marslender King; brothers, Melvin Marslender, Carlton Carroll Marslender; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery, with Rev. Michael D.
