William Leland (Charlie) Duck was born on April 26, 1918 in Isle of Wight County. He was predeceased by his wife, Cornelia Bunch Duck. He was also predeceased by his grandson, Leland Felton Duck, Jr.

He is survived by his sons Leland Felton Duck and wife Berdie and William Rae Duck and wife Bertha; a sister, Polly Frances Redd; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Woodland United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Clyde Alderman officiating. Friends may join the family for visitation at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. Memorial donations may be given to a charity of choice.
