William Joe Horton, Jr. of Windsor, Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Born in Dover, Delaware, William was the son of the late William Joe Horton, Sr. and Irma Gay Manning Horton. He was a true patriot who proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for 22 years as a retiring senior chief. He was a project manager for Oceaneering Inc. and an active member of the Purdie Masonic Lodge #170 as well as the Widows Sons doing charitable work throughout the community.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 7 years, Kelly Annette Horton, sons; Casey J. Horton (Amber), Deven W. Horton, and Cade L. Padgett, daughter; Alyse M. Padgett, brothers; Danny (Tina) Horton and Brian Horton.

A Celebration of Life with Masonic Rights will be held at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating. Condolences can be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com .
