William "Greg" Gregory Griffin, 54, of Suffolk, VA passed away April 14, 2011. He was born in Suffolk the son of Sara S. Griffin and the late Arthur Kline Griffin. He formerly worked as a farmer and was a member of Holland Baptist Church.

Greg is survived by his mother; Sara S. Griffin; sons, William G. Griffin, Jr. and wife, Amanda of Washington, NC, Morris C. Griffin of Emporia, VA; granddaughter, Alana Rynn Griffin; brothers, Thomas Kline Griffin, David Arthur Griffin and wife, Karen all of Walters, VA, Edwin Wayne Griffin of Zuni, VA; uncle and aunt, Billy and Ruth Saunders of Carrsville, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Byron McCreary officiating. Friends may join the family Saturday night from 6-7 p.m. for a time of visitation at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA and other times at the residence.
