William P. Evans, Jr.'s Obituary
William Preston Evans, Jr., 71, passed away December 14, 2014. He was born the oldest of 7 children in Weeksville, NC the son of the late Selma T. and William P. Evans, Sr. He worked as a longshoreman mechanic and was a member of South Mills Church of Christ.
William is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Fay Hooper Evans; daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly and Danny Joyner, Terri and Mark Stawinsky; grandchildren, Angela, Courtney, Paige, and Sophie; and great grandson, Hunter.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at South Mills Church of Christ, 100 Culpepper Road, South Mills, NC 27976 with Ron Stuart officiating. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
