William "Bill" Christopher Cones, 56, passed away May 27, 2017. He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of William M. and N. Joan Cones. He was self employed in the auto business. Bill was a member of Suffolk Christian Church and was also a past Elk Lodge member. He was a proud owner of a Harley Davidson and an avid rider.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, William Christopher Cones, Jr.; sisters, Mary Cones Coleman, Suzanne Cones Cox (Len); nieces and nephews, Amy Suzanne Cox, Adam Christopher Cox, Chrisi Duman (Aaron), and Josh Coleman; great nieces, Abby and Bradleigh Duman, Skylar Vanderburg, Tristian Vanderburg, and Little Olive; and his faithful constant companion, Roscoe. He was predeceased by his nephew, Eric L. Cox.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Suffolk Christian Church with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Burial is at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
