William Taylor Chappell, 67, passed away December 20, 2023. He was born in Norfolk, VA the son of Gloria Jean Dewberry Chappell and the late Nicholas Ercell Chappell.

William worked as a project manager in ship repair.

Billy was loved and admired for his strength and devotion to his family.   He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lisa Marie Chappell; children, Nicholas Chappell (Megan), Kathryn Creekmore (Ryan), and Erik Chappell (Natalia); and grandchildren, Camden Chappell, Carson Chappell, Olivia Creekmore, and Quinn Creekmore.  And his fur baby Stella.

Services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
