William Leonard Bruff, Sr., 66, of Suffolk passed away on January 9, 2008, to go home to be with the Lord. A native of Norfolk, VA he was the son of Arthur Davis Bruff and Effie Little Bruff. William was an Assembly Man at Norfolk Ford Plant and a member of Christ First Church of Norfolk.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Doris L.Bruff; a son and daughter-in-law, William Leonard Bruff, Jr. and Holly T. Bruff; a daughter and son-in-law Beth B. and R. Craig Branch; five grandchildren, Austin, Autumn, Hunter, Mason and Karlee, all of Suffolk, VA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 12, at 11: a.m. at Wilroy Baptist Church, with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. Friends may join the family after the service for a time of remembrance at the home of William and Holly Bruff, 808 Mayflower Drive, Suffolk. Parr Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
