William Henry "Bill" Ray II, 65, passed away on March 10, 2022. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Beverly Ann Lickei and William Thomas Ray. He is also predeceased by his in-laws, Margaret L. and Arthur G. Riddell Jr. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and retired as a Senior Chief after 20+ years. He later went on to be a contractor for the US Government and a business owner.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara Elizabeth Ray; sons, Justin K. Ray (Kristin) and Kellan A. Ray (Kat); grandchildren, Trever, Archer, Grayson, and Maddox; special niece, Kendra Gondringer; sisters, Debbie Wessel (Milt) and Candi Winer (Steve); brothers, Tom Ray (Sue) and Rick Ray.

Bill's graveside service will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to FEMA or the Horton Wreath Society.
