William "Billy" Arthur Brady, Jr., 47, of Windsor, VA passed away December 14, 2010. Growing up Billy was active in Boy Scouts of America, he became an Eagle Scout on September 21, 1981. He was a member of Antioch Church in Windsor, VA. He retired as a Fire Lieutenant / Paramedic for Norfolk Fire and Rescue. Billy formerly volunteered for the Windsor and Isle of Wight Rescue Squads, later becoming a life member of both.

Billy is survived by his wife of 20 years, Patra Fox Brady; daughter, Kristal Marie Brady Creevey and husband, Jimmy of Suffolk, son, Ryan Patrick Brady of Windsor; grandchild, Caiden Creevey; mother and father, Emma Jean Brady and William Arthur Brady of Smithfield; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Eric Fly of Wakefield, Regina and Thomas Mittag of Abingdon, VA; mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, Carole and Otis Lankford of Carrollton, Carol and Ed Fox of Williamsburg; sister-in-law, Glenda Dimeler of Carrollton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Craig and Lil Dimeler of Madison, AL; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, as well as the Fireman and Rescue brotherhood.

A Celebration of Life Service with Fireman Rites will be held Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Rob Dr., Suffolk, VA with Rev. Mark Habecker officiating. A further time of fellowship will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Billy Brady Memorial Fund" to support local charitable organizations in his memory.
