Willard Butler Holland, 69, passed away June 9, 2009. He was born in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, the son of the late Ella Butler Holland and Vernon Awood Holland Sr. He was predeceased by his sister, Alma Ann Rountree and brothers, Vernon A. Holland Jr., Joseph Milton Holland and Charlie Thomas Holland. Willard retired as assistant production manager from the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant in Suffolk.

Willard is survived by his sisters, Hilda H. O'Berry, Della H. Edwards, Grace H. Brown, Dorothy H. Byrum, Jean H. Pavlina, Jane H. Mountcastle, and Betty H. O'Berry and husband Graham; brothers, Russell S. Holland Sr.; friend, Shirley Braswell and E. Ray Holland and wife Shirley; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friend, Brenda Babb.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, June 12, 2009 at 1 p.m. in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434, with Ren Spivey officiating.
