Will "Billy" Herman Wright, Jr. 86, of Suffolk, Virginia passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. Billy was the son of the late Will Herman Wright, Sr. and Helen Ashley Wright. Billy was a great father, grandaddy and husband. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a supervisor for Union Camp. He enjoyed sports and was a 3 Letter Man. Harley-Davidson was his favorite motorcycle and Dale Earnhardt Sr. was his favorite NASCAR driver. He was also a member of the Hardee's Breakfast Club.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife and best friend of 23 years, Phyllis Hicks Wright; children, Logan Ferguson, Meredith Wright, Michael Wright (Dianna), Robert Wright (Susan); stepdaughter, Donna Pitt (Joe); grandchildren, Caroline, Ann Collier, Virginia, Emilee, Erin, Will and Megan; siblings, Jane Aston and Bobby Wright (Brenda).

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Billy's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
