Wilburn "Bill" Perry Davis, 97, passed away January 16, 2024.  He was born in Brevard, NC the son of the late Perry Stoval Davis and Allie Jerusha Owenby Davis.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Lavonne Barba; and siblings, Aileen, Marjorie, Carrol, Harold, Jack, and Helen.  Bill was a United States Navy veteran having served during WWII.  He later went on to work as a freight broker, owning his own company, Davis Trucking.  He was a member and 60-year veteran of the Norview Masonic Lodge # 113.  He was also a member of the Valley of Norfolk Scottish Rites, Khedive Shrine, and served on the Horse Patrol.

Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Yolanda Suarez Davis; daughters, Michelle D. Kelly (Peter), Dianne D. Vogt (Lindsay); sons, W.P. "Billy" Davis, Jr. (Sondra), and John H. Davis (Rachel); grandchildren, Hunter, Taylor, Garrhett, Billy, Seth, Kim, Missy, and Shannon; and numerous great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service with Masonic Rites and Military Honors will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital in his honor.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com .
