Warren Wasson, 81, passed away February 12, 2023.  He was born in Queens, NY the son of the late Robert Wasson and Alice Reed Wasson.  Warren was a United States Navy veteran.  He later went on to work and retired as a ward clerk for a VA Medical Center in San Francisco.  He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Portsmouth, VA.

Warren is survived by his nieces, Bonnie Dattel, Jeanne McCrea and Heather Dattel; nephew, Joseph Rao; along with several great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Pete Grana officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA or Humane Society.  Parr Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
