Virginia Braswell O'Berry, 85 of Garrison Drive in Windsor, VA passed away quietly April 29, 2011 in Consulate Nursing Home in Windsor.

A native of Isle of Wight County Mrs. O'Berry was a homemaker, the widow of William S. O'Berry and a member of the Living Hope Community Fellowship Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. She was the daughter of the late John Letcher Braswell and Blanche Holland Braswell. She is predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Braswell Holland.

Survivors include her nieces, Patricia Holland of Emporia, Nancy Lewing of Spurger Texas, Connie Cox of Virginia Beach, and her nephew, Robert Holland of Williamsburg, VA., and many many nieces & nephews by marriage.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA with Rev. Jack Dobson officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. on Sunday night.
