Virginia Parker Howell's Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Parker Howell passed away on September 9, 2011. Mrs. Howell was born on August 1, 1927 in Suffolk, VA.
She was a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church. She was a true believer in Jesus Christ and the power of prayer. She was a past employee of Thomas J. Lipton Co. and later nursing part-time.
Mrs. Howell was adopted and raised by her adoptive parents the late Jim and Eunice Parker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Wendall Howell and son J. Michael Howell. She is survived by her son, Calvin Stuart Howell of Suffolk, two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Carroll Turner of Zuni, VA and Kathy and Mike Jernigan of Suffolk, VA.
She is survived by three Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted Monday, September 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Willis Dowling officiating at Parr Funeral Home.
