Violet Maie Turner Harrell, 94, passed away May 11, 2020.  She was born in Nansemond County, VA the daughter of the late Clarence and Sarah Turner.  She was predeceased by her husband, Linwood Edward Harrell; son, Linwood Junior Harrell; and sister, Sue T. Abbott.  Violet worked as a floor lady for Birdsong Peanut Company.

Violet is survived by her daughter, Violet Marie Stovall; son and daughter-in-law, Curtis Lee Harrell (Barbara); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Junie May Riddick and Florence Gayle; and brothers, Clarence Turner and Jerry Turner.
