Travis Story, 31, passed away July 8, 2017.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of Jimmy Arnold Story and Linda Saunders Story.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Benjamin and Virginia Saunders, William Story, and Eunice Story.  Travis   worked as a rigger for Marine Hydraulics International.  He was a member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge and played ball with numerous Suffolk teams over his lifetime.

Travis is survived by his wife of 11 years, Ashley Nichole Story; parents, Jimmy and Linda Story; sons, Lucas Alexander Story and Brody Wayne Story; sisters, Jessica Story Moore (Mike), Traci Jenkins (Clarence), Crystal Reichenbaugh (Brian); brother, Robbie Story (Becky); mother-in-law and father-in-law, David and Jeannie Brinkley; brother-in-law, Benny Brinkley; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Hank Teague officiating.   Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Thursday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
