Tommy Duke, 69, passed away January 21, 2017.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late George W. and Virginia M. Duke.  He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during Vietnam.  Tommy later went on to work and retire from Union Camp as a paper maker.   He was a member of the Box Elder Hunt Club and the Holland Hunt Club.  He loved nothing more than fishing and hunting.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judith H. Duke; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and James Cooke; grandson, Thomas Cooke; brother, Buckley Duke; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his sister, Lynn Francis.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Holland Cemetery with Steve Dunn officiating.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Monday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence.  Memorial donations may be made to the Box Elder Hunt Club.  Condolences  may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
