Tina Lynette Carter, 38, of Southampton County entered into eternal peace June 18, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Julia E. and John C. Casper, Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Dalton Reid Blanks, Derrick Ray Carter, and Patrick Dean Carter; significant other, John Wayne Blanks, Jr.; brothers, William Casper (Julie), and John Casper (Angie), and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family as well as Evelyn Whitehead and two special friends, Becky Wheeler, and Shelia Turner.

A graveside service will be held Monday, June 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery with William Ashley Ellis officiating. Friends may join the family Sunday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence of Evelyn Whitehead, 2949 Deerpath Rd., Suffolk, VA.
