Thurman Marcus Moore, 85, passed away May 27, 2025.  He was born in Brunswick County, NC the son of the late William Tendell Moore and Nita Atkinson Moore.  He was predeceased by his grandson, Alex Moore.  Thurman was a United States Navy veteran.  He later went on to work and then retired after 40 years as a Supervisor from Tenneco, Inc.

Thurman is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Clark Moore; daughter, Angelia Moore McClevey (Marty); son, Mark A. Moore; grandson, James McClevey; sisters, Patty and Julie; brother, Reggie; numerous nieces and nephews; and faithful dog companion, "Pete".
