Thomas "Tom" Linwood Taylor, Sr., 66, of Suffolk, VA passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007. He was born in Norfolk, VA the son of the late Helen Virginia Austin Taylor and Herbert Earl Taylor. He was also predeceased by his sister, Shirley Taylor. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Tom retired as a gas mechanic for Virginia Natural Gas and was a member of Church of God of Prophecy.

Tom is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Thomas Linwood Taylor, Jr. and Colleen of Suffolk, VA; 2 grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Beverly Roberts and Jeannette Case of CA.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Fulton officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
