Obituary

Thomas Lee "Runt" Willis, 77, passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. He is predeceased by his parents, Elsie and Ward Willis of Chesapeake, VA; son, Glenn James; brothers, Richard, David "Poncho", and George "Junior" Willis; son in law, Perry Worrell Sr; and brothers and sisters in law.  He was also preceded in death by his beloved pet, Cooter.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years, Dora Wyatt James Willis; children, Clayton James (Carla), Lorraine Worrell, and Calvin James; grandchildren, Beth Ann James, PJ Worrell (AnnMarie), and Peyton James; great granddaughter, Toryn Green; sister, Rosemary "Susie" Phelps (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Runt spent his younger days working alongside his brother, Junior at "Superbugs" in Chesapeake designing and building custom made vehicles of all types. Runt retired on his 66th birthday as an HVAC technician with Suffolk Sheet Metal after 36 years of service.
A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
