Thomas Earl Lewis, 85, passed away November 21, 2024.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late John Lewis and Savannah Harrell Lewis.  He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Anna Holland Lewis; and his siblings, Gladys Saunders and John Marvin Lewis.  Thomas was a United States Army veteran.  He later went on to work for the City of Portsmouth and retired as an inspector.

Thomas is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Michael Jasewicz; granddaughter, Megan Jasewicz; special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Michael Mazie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Byung Chul Sung officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Tuesday night from 6 - 7 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
