Thomas "Tommy" James Babb, Sr., 60, passed away December 22, 2017.  He was born in Gatesville, NC the son of Frank Edward Babb and the late Josephine Ray Babb.  He was predeceased by his brother, Charles S. "Buddy" Babb.  Tommy formerly worked in waste water maintenance at Smithfield Packing Company.

In addition to his father, Tommy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Judy Brinkley Babb; daughter, Jennifer Shoemaker (Kenneth); son, Thomas J. "TJ" Babb, Jr. (Alexandra); granddaughter, Brooklyn A. Babb; sisters, Carolyn White (Earl), Lisa Pope (Todd); brother, Edward Babb; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev.
