Obituary

Thomas Alan Eanes, 50, passed away January 9, 2021 from complications of Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Thomas was born to the late Phyllis and Otis Eanes and was raised in Windsor, VA. He spent the majority of his life giving back to the local community. Thomas loved anything outdoors, hunting, fishing and even just piddling around. His absolute favorite thing was anything that involved his sons, spending countless hours at their events and ensuring that he taught them everything he could about how to be the best they could be. He was always the first to jump in whenever anyone was in need, and if you were his friend you were his family.
Thomas was a loving father and faithful friend. He had a sense of humor that could make anyone smile and was always willing to lighten the mood. In nights when he was in pain, he always made sure his kids were not scared and prayed for the sick and weak. He was taken from us way too soon.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Anna; sons, Sean Thomas and Phillip Alan; his cutie patootie, Addy; sisters, Debbie Eanes and Becky Simpson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Thomas' service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate in his memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ( jdrf.org ) or the Ehlers-Danlos Society ( ehlers-danlos.com ).
