Thomas Harold Bunch, 80, went to be with his Lord on March 18, 2018 with his wife by his side in his home.  He was born in Nansemond County, VA the son of the late James Haywood Bunch and Lula Mae Baines Bunch.  He retired after 38 years as an overhaul shop mechanic for Thomas J. Lipton Company.  Thomas was a lifelong member of Eureka Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, taught the Adult Men's Sunday School Class, sang in the choir, and was a member of the North Carolina Baptist Men.  He was also a member of the Lipton Quarter Century Club.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn F. Bunch; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Keith and Renee Bunch of Pulaski, VA, Ryan Lee and Amy Bunch of Colfax, NC; grandchildren, Sarah, Isaac, Hannah, and Emily Ann Bunch; brothers and sister-in-law, Derwood Bunch, Rev. Kenneth and Nancy Bunch.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Eureka Baptist Church in Corapeake, NC with Rev. David Lawson and Rev.
