Thomas "Buck" Owen Brinegar, 76, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2015. He was born in Monongalia County, WV the son of the late Thomas Owen Brinegar and Lulu Mae Lawson Brinegar. He was predeceased by his sister, Janice Bowman of Morgantown, WV. Tom was a United States Navy veteran having served over 7 years. He later went on to work as an electronic engineer and retired after over 20 years from the Unidyne Corporation. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Disabled American Veterans.
Tom is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Joann Brinegar; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Owen Brinegar, III (Susie) of Wadestown, WV; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann Davis (Jack) of Suffolk, VA, Crystal Dawn Brown (Cleveland) of Suffolk, VA; grandchildren, Thomas Owen Brinegar, IV, son of Thomas Owen Brinegar III, James Robert Wagner, son of Mary Davis, Kristen Evette Brown, daughter of Crystal Brown, Kristopher Owen Brown, son of Crystal Brown, Jon Ryan Wagner son, of Mary Davis, Bridget Atleson, daughter of Thomas Owen Brinegar III, Joseph Randal Wagner, son of Mary Davis; great grandchildren, Logan Riley Brown, son of Kristen Brown, Kierstynn Faith Wagner, daughter of Jon Wagner, Jenna Atleson, daughter of Bridget Atleson, and Lexi Atleson, daughter of Bridget Atleson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lavonne Bowser(Everett) of Morgantown, WV, Carl Bowman of Morgantown, WV, Diana Jimmie (Stephen) of FL; and brother and sister-in-law, George Brinegar (Shirley) of Carolina, WV.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Aaron Burgess officiating. Burial with military honors will be at 1:00 p.m. at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Wednesday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
