Teresa "Terri" Leigh Duck, 57, passed away March 7, 2022.  She was born in Seattle, WA the daughter of the late Richard "Dickie" Elijah Duck and Connie Ellis Duck.  She was predeceased by her husband, Christopher J. Shields; and sister, Cynthia Duck Parker.  Terri was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post # 6060.

Terri is survived by her daughter, Yolanda Rushin (Pete); son, Juan Thomas Arce II (Jenna); grandchildren, Eli Rushin, Dylan L. Rushin, Journey E. L. Rushin, Karmyn Arce, Juan Arce III, and Liam Arce; sisters, Cheryl Duck Whitehurst and Angela Duck Vaughan (Eddie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.  Inurnment will be at the Ellis Family Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the VFW Auxiliary Post #6060, 1433 N. Road St., Elizabeth City, NC 27909.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
