Sylvia Irene Cobleigh, 61, of Chesapeake, VA went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on May 14, 2009 after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. A native of Troy, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Donald Ralph and Irene Baker Baldwin. For many years she was manager for KB Toy Works. She was dedicated to raising her children and spending lots of time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lee Cobleigh of Chesapeake; a daughter and son-in-law Lorrie A. and Ray Bennett of Suffolk; a son, Scott M. Cobleigh of Bedford; grandchildren, Colby Bennett, Chase Guarino, Joshua Bennett, Ashlynn Bennett; sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlene and Don Wheeler of Lebanon, PA and Dawn and Meredith May of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alfred and Beth Baldwin and Howard and Barbara Baldwin all of Troy, PA; mother-in-law Marguerite Cobleigh of Troy, PA and brother-in-law and wife Donald and Beth Cobleigh of Monroeton, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilroy Baptist Church with Tim Rawls officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA for visitation on Monday evening from 7 – 8 p.m. and other times at the home of Lorrie and Ray Bennett, 107 Northbrooke Avenue, Suffolk.
