Sylvia Ruth Carr Ignacio, 72, of Portsmouth, VA, passed away April 5, 2018.  She was born in Suffolk, VA to the late James Samuel Carr and Mabel Cleo Grant Carr Jenkins.  Sylvia retired as a material handler from Neestum Co.  She was predeceased by her husband Victor D. Ignacio and daughter, Angela White.  Sylvia was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Sylvia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Michael Hubbard; son and daughter-in-law, William and Kim Bradshaw; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Alice Wiggins and Joeanne Jones.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Monday, April 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Tom Potter officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
