On January 13, 2012, the Angels invited Sydni G. Connally to come home to heaven and nurture her sweet son, John Oliver Connally whose birth into life lead directly to Heaven on January 12, 2012. Sydni was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on March 3, 1970, to Betty L. Mahnke and W. C. "Gabbo" Galbreath. Sydni graduated from Portsmouth Catholic High School in 1988. She enrolled in Louise Obici Nursing School and graduated in 1995. Sydni attended Virginia Commonwealth University earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004.

On April 5, 2003 Sydni married Stephen G Connally. They were blessed with their first son, Jack Carlyle Connally. Their second child, John Oliver Connally was immediately received into heaven. Sydni's entire nursing career was shared so wonderfully at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was the most beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

A Celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at noon at Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church by Rev. Leo Whitaker. Memorial donations may be made to the Jack C.
