Susie Morris McClenny, 86, of Suffolk, VA, passed away on December 12, 2009. A native of Suffolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late William and
Grace D. Morris. Susie was a widow of Wallace Mills McClenny. Susie was a retired child care provider for the Virginia Baptist Children's Home and also former co-owner of McClenny Truck Stop. She was a Southern Baptist.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda Towler of Jacksonville, NC; three grandchildren, Mills, Preston, and Madison Towler; a brother John Nelson of Jacksonville, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the Meadowbrook Chapel on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Ashley Ellis officiating. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family at Parr Funeral Home 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 on Monday night, December 14, 2009, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a visitation.
