Susan Gaynell Haywood, 59, passed away September 2, 2015. She was born in Portsmouth, VA the daughter of the late Vivian P. and George I. Martin, Jr. Susan is survived by her husband of 23 years, Kenneth R. Haywood; daughters and son-in-law: Lisa M. and Chad Beechboard, Amy L. Kesterson; step-son, Anthony Wayne Haywood; step-daughter, Karen Marie Duck; grandchildren, Jon, Dylan, Tyler, Justice, Tiffany, Brandon, Triston, Jasmine; sister, Pamela M. Aden; brother, George I. Martin, III; and numerous other loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Joseph E. Poe, II officiating. Entombment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may join the family for a visitation on Friday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Lisa and Chad Beechboard.
