Susan Eleanor DeFrench Jaworski, 62, passed away February 24, 2023.  She was born in Muskegon, MI the daughter of the late George Meston DeFrench and Jaunice Marie DeWitt DeFrench.  She was predeceased by her brother, Jack Lee DeFrench.  Susan retired after working for over 30 years as the office manager for Norfolk Monument Company.  In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, listening to music, and watercolor painting. Over the years she was an annual participant of the Nansemond Suffolk Academy Art show. Susan had a passion for the outdoors and shared that love through her Artwork. More than anything Susan loved her family. She would take time out of each day to call and keep up with her loved ones.  She will forever be remembered and cherished by those that knew and loved her.

Susan is survived by her husband, William Robert Hardy; son, Mark E. Jaworski, Jr. (Amanda); stepchildren, Shae A. Hardy (Becca), and Brittany N. Mariner-Hardy; grandchild, Skylar Rose Hardy; siblings, Kelly E. DeFrench (Cindy), and Karen M. Schuiteman; and 2 nieces.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 2 - 3 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
