Suellen Lightfoot, 55, passed away May 16, 2015 after courageously battling cancer for 8 years. She was born in Portland, Maine the daughter of Robert Rowe and the late Judith Rowe. Including her father, she is survived by her husband of 5 years, Daniel J. Lightfoot; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole J. and Mickey Thompson; son and daughter-in-law, Donald R. Barter, Jr. and Mary Barter; step son and wife, Jason and Jennifer Lightfoot; step daughter, Heather Lightfoot; nine loving grandchildren, Jazmine, Leah, Cody, Owen, Wyatt, Sky, Breanna, Summer, and Dante; brothers and sister-in-law, Wayne Rowe, Tim and Michelle Rowe; mother-in-law, Phyllis Lightfoot; sister-in-law, Donna Nickerson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Chaplain Richard Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation Wednesday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
