Sue Modlin Rountree died on January 12, 2012. She was born in North Carolina September 21, 1930. She graduated from Sunbury High School in 1948. She was predeceased by her parents William Beacher and Margaret Pierce Modlin.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Wesley Rountree, Jr.; and four sons, Jim (Angelia), Billy (Kim), Thomas (Melissa), Robert (Valerie); eight grandchildren, Jamie, Jake, Elizabeth, Will, Nathan, Justin, Todd, and Dakota; and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by special friends, Denna Aston Babb, Rev. Steve and Beatrice Parker, and Sarah.

Services will be private. Parr Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family would like to give special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff of the 2nd floor step down unit of Obici Hospital for all the loving care they gave Sue.
